In September Enable Ability launched its ‘Buddying & Befriending’ scheme. Funded via ‘Aiming High for Disabled Children’ this project provides one-to-one child befriending for families of children with disabilities who do not have an allocated Social Worker. Whilst there has been a steady increase in up-take for the scheme, there is still capacity for more families to register. If you have a child with a disability and feel that you would benefit from 2-3 hours support from a trained staff member to spend quality time with your child then please get in touch.
