The programme is part-funded by the European Social Fund

The programme has been created by the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership and is supported by the European Social Fund (ESF), Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council, Southampton City Council and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Community Foundation (HIWCF) fund holders.

The programme is a result of the call issued by the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to commission ESF funded projects that provide grants to support organisations who are able to reach and work with individuals with complex barriers to employment, enabling them to move closer or into employment.
Hampshire Youth Project has received a grant of £13,179.00from the Solent Community Grant Programme to support inactive young people (participants) with mild to moderate disabilities into employment or searching for a job.
