Special needs playschemes
Our special needs summer playscheme provides for children aged 5 to 18 years requiring high levels of supervision owing to severe physical/learning difficulties and/or autism.
The playscheme takes place during the summer holiday at two local schools. Appropriate transport is provided to collect and return children each day (if required) drivers for all mini bus’s are Midas qualified and escorts are available to help with the children. All children are given the opportunity to participate in a wide-ranging programme of activities.
Playscheme 2011
This playscheme will run from Monday August 1st until Friday August 26th 2011
Our special needs summer play schemes will this year will be located at the following two sites,
Redwood Park School, Wembley Grove, Cosham will be the base for children aged between 9 and 18 years. Children aged between 5 to 8 years, will be based at Cliffdale Primary School, Battenburg Avenue, North End.
A cross section of age related activities will be provided, these may include outings,art and craft work, and a range of specialist sessions (eg, dance, music,creative art)
