Novel Coronavirus Covid-19:

Enable Ability Statement and Policy

Enable Ability is implementing measures in relation to the ongoing spread of COVID-19 as part of our duty of care to participants, the general public, staff and volunteers. It is business as usual currently but with the following precautions in place:

Hand sanitisers (where possible) will be placed at our office reception and Landport Community Centre and will be taken to all activities run by Enable Ability, with attendees encouraged to use sanitisers when entering and leaving. Attendees are also encouraged to bring along their own hand sanitisers as a back up. We would also request that attendees refrain from handshaking and embracing at events. If in doubt please check the National Health Service recommendations on prevention here.

Please assess your own health prior to visiting our office, the Community Centre, or activities. We kindly ask that you do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of the virus.

Potentially infected attendees are advised to self-isolate immediately and call 111.  See further information. https://www.who.int/health-topics/coronavirusWe would also request that all attendees consider any risks of exposure to the virus from recent travels. Please ensure that you take into consideration the COVID-19 status of countries you may have visited and inform us if you have travelled from affected regions. See further information and travel guidance https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus.

We may require people travelling from affected countries to cancel their planned attendance.

Your safety is our main priority and we are confident in our ability to deal with current health concerns appropriately and professionally. We will contact you about activities if anything changes in terms of the safety of the service venue/office.
