Enable Ability and Autek submitted an entry into the William Sutton Prize for Social Innovation recently and were down-slected to the final 7 entrants all of whom were invited to a virtual prize ceremony on Thursday 25th March. The project submission demonstrated the innovation of the What's It Like? project working within Inter Activ and how video technology can help many people who suffer from anxiety to be able to access places before the visit.
The worthy winners of the prize were The Hackney Food Project but coming a close second and receiving a 'Highly Commended' status and recipients of a £5000 prize was Enable Ability and the What's It Like? submission.
Many congratulations go to Steve Bond, What's It Like Project Manager, Alex Carter, Nathan Kiley, Jack Grant and Kenzie for their involvement in the programme.
The William Sutton prize is sponsored by Clarion Housing Group.
