Back in February, we were cancelled due to condensation on the track. This was naturally rescheduled to another date in June. Then the pandemic hit which meant the new date had to be cancelled. However, over the weekend, the Portsmouth Teenage Project finally got to enjoy three 15 minute races, some of the young people even conquered their fears by racing in a go-kart for a first time! Whilst others were attempting to beat their personal bests in lap times round the track!

The staff at the venue were excellent, they eliminated any worry and were very patient in answering any questions we had, despite it being a busy night in the Eastleigh venue.

Everyone had a fantastic evening, thank you to everyone who joined us and huge commiserations to some who could not attend this time for various reasons.

Enable Ability would encourage those with a mild to moderate disability living within the South East Hampshire area to register their interest with the project, we still have spaces for such fun activities. All we require is a quick visit to the young person's home address and register your young person on our online system, an easy process that can be completed within an hour (dependent on how chatty you are). Although, we are very reliant on the weather for these home visits due to home visits inside deemed unsafe at present, therefore we ask to meet in your garden or a local park.

Please call/text our Project Leader on 07857 328390 for further information or if you would like to book onto an activity.
