A group of 14 young people aged 13-25 years old from the Hampshire Youth Project travelled to Winchester from areas such as Havant, Fareham and Gosport using our charity's minibus to visit the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.

Firstly, we saw the fantastic Dino-themed Live Science Show which was a fun demo-led show delving into the world of palaeontology and geology with live experiments taking place right before us, this included exploding watermelons!

After some free-time in the science centre, we then ventured into the planetarium where we sat back and relaxed to enjoy a whirlwind tour of the universe in the extremely impressive planetarium cinema.

Our charity believes it is really important to teach the next generation the importance of protecting our planet, this includes educating young people in fun and imaginative ways. Our visit to Winchester certainly ticked this box and we will continue to find new ways of teaching our young people how precious our planet is and how best to protect it.

Below are some of the pictures taken from our visit to Winchester.
