Immersive Technology to help overcome anxiety

 - virtual tours, video walk through, augmented and virtual reality.

Most of the young people that we help have anxiety and sensory difficulties which make it difficult for them to access places that they want to and engage in activities that are of interest.  Often the solution is quite simple, and can be found in the answer to the question:

"What's It Like?"

What’s it like? is conceived, created and tested by those living with anxiety, who identified the need. Meaning it will make genuine change for these peoples' lives.

Our approach is a supported, step-by-step experience gradually increasing the level of immersion to ensure that anxiety is managed and that the goal of attendance is achieved.  And that over time our users develop new skills of managing anxiety through technology.

And our customers will benefit, too. Caring organisations that want to develop stronger community links, increased customer base, improved attendance rates, and to be more inclusive employers enjoying the talent that is currently stifled by anxiety.

What's It Like? was conceived and launched as part of PALS Society which sadly has now been dissolved. However the enthusiasm and leadership for the program has been moved on to work under the banner of Inter Activ within Enable Ability.

New 'NHS' Project launched (May 2020):

The Covid pandemic has created a 'new normal' with new rules about social interaction, hand-cleanliness, and personal awareness and distancing which present new issues around the anxiety of our young people. After a successful bid to the Hampshire and IOW Community Fund we have been granted £10,000 to create three new 'NHS-themed' virtual videos based on pharmacies, doctor's surgeries and hospitals.
